The FlowStudio MCP prompt gallery
The prompt gallery is a set of more than 30 prompts, plus a few tips, for the AI agent you connect to FlowStudio MCP. Copy a prompt, replace the parts in brackets with your own flow, app or environment name, and paste it into ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot or Cowork.
It's included with Pro, Pro+, Team and Business, and open during the 21-day Starter evaluation.
What's in it
The prompts are grouped by what you want to get done.
| Group | What the prompts do |
|---|---|
| Troubleshooting | Find out why a run failed, compare it with the last run that worked, replay a failure, and list the connections that show an error. |
| Best Practices | Look for an existing flow before you build, explain a flow you inherited, start a test run, check the runs after a change, and build a flow until it works. |
| Governance | List the flows across your environments, see which connectors they use and who owns them, and check what a flow depends on. |
| Canvas Apps | Explain a Power Apps canvas app, connect it to a SharePoint list or an Excel table, add a search box or a form screen, improve the look, and review the draft before you publish. |
The tips are habits that make any prompt work better, like naming the environment and asking the agent to look for an existing flow before it builds a new one.
Five prompts to try
| Group | Prompt |
|---|---|
| Troubleshooting | "Compare the last failed run of [flow] in [environment] to the last successful one and tell me what changed." |
| Best Practices | "Show me the runs of [flow name] in [environment] since my last change. If any failed, tell me which action failed and why." |
| Governance | "Show me which connections [flow name] in [environment name] uses, and any child flows it calls." |
| Canvas Apps | "List the canvas apps in [environment], then show me the screens and data sources of [app name]." |
| Canvas Apps | "Add a search box to the [screen name] screen of [app name] in [environment name] that filters the gallery by [column name]. Save it as a draft and show me what changed." |
Canvas prompts save every change as a draft. People using the app keep the published version until you publish.

Questions
Which agents do the prompts work with?
Any agent connected to FlowStudio MCP. They are plain-language requests, so they work in ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot and any MCP-compatible agent.
Will a canvas prompt change the app my users see?
Not until you publish. Canvas prompts save changes as a draft, and the review prompt in the gallery shows you every control and formula that changed before you do.
My Starter evaluation has ended. Can I still use the gallery?
Not on Starter. Choose Pro or Pro+ from your dashboard to keep using it.
