Add Permissions for Flow Studio for Teams
To enable Flow Studio for Teams to scan your Power Automate and Power Apps environments, each user must log in and grant permission themselves.
Steps:
- After logging in to flowstudio.app, go to the Teams page.
-
Scroll to the Permissions section
-
Under New Permissions, click Add this permission to allow Flow Studio for Teams to access your Flows and PowerApps.
This will allow Flow Studio to:
-
Scan your Power Automate flows and Power Apps
-
Store run history securely in Azure
-
Enable shared flow visibility within your team workspace
You’ll see a list of members and which permissions they’ve already granted (Power Automate and/or Power Apps), followed by the New Permissions section where your own permission buttons appear.
🔐 Important: Each user must grant their own permissions. Workspace admins cannot do this on behalf of others.
Once you've added permissions, Flow Studio for Teams will begin scanning your environments.
Note: Scanning does not automatically monitor any flows. You will manually select which flows to monitor in a later step.
You can see the Scanning Status in the Scanning Status display:
After your scanning process completes (i.e., when you see the status change from Scanning with [your_account] to Scanning with [your_account] completed), you can begin selecting which flows to monitor on the Flows page. Note the selection of Flow to monitor must be after the scanning is completed otherwise the selection will not save.
